DMCA
GTA 5 in Browser respects the rights of creators and copyright owners, and we expect visitors to do the same. This page explains how to tell us about content you believe infringes your copyright, how to respond if your material was removed, and how we handle such reports under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
How Games Appear on This Site
Games in our catalog are not stored on our servers. Each one is embedded from a third-party platform and loads from that platform inside a frame on our page. Cover images are used to identify the games. When we receive a valid notice about an embedded game or an image, we remove the embed code or file from our pages. If you want the game itself taken down at its source, you should also contact the platform that hosts it.
Sending a Copyright Notice
If you believe material on gta5browserplay.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Notice.” To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:
- Your signature A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- The work Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if several works are involved.
- The material Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with the exact page address (URL) on our site so we can find it.
- Your contact details Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- Good-faith statement A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- Accuracy statement A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
Notices that leave out required elements may not be actionable, so please check that everything is included before sending.
Important: under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation that content is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Please consider whether the use could be permitted, for example as fair use, before sending a notice.
What Happens Next
When we receive a complete notice, we review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material identified. Where possible, we let the person who supplied the material know what was removed and why.
Counter-Notification
If material you provided was removed and you believe that happened by mistake or because of misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same email address. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), it must include:
- your physical or electronic signature
- identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent
After receiving a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the person who filed the original notice. If they do not inform us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, the material may be restored.
Repeat Infringers
Where it applies, we will remove content from, and restrict the participation of, users who are found to repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
