Shooting Games
Shooting Games gathers fast gunfights, tactical rounds and a few surprises. Combat is a big part of the GTA experience, from drive-bys to rooftop standoffs, and this collection focuses on that side with shooters that range from historic to brand new and from deadly serious to completely absurd.
Tactical and Team Shooters
CS GO 2 follows the Counter-Strike formula of short rounds and careful aim, where one life per round makes every decision count. Bullet Force offers bigger military battles with up to 20 players, killstreaks, perks and modes like Conquest and Team Deathmatch.
Arcade and Experimental
- Funny Shooter 2: endless waves of bizarre enemies and a boss every 10 levels
- Time Shooter 2: time moves only when you move, turning gunfights into puzzles
- 1v1 Lol: build walls and ramps faster than your opponent, then shoot
- Bloody Bastards: medieval ragdoll duels with swords and shields
Where It All Began
Wolfenstein 3D, released in 1992, defined the first-person shooter. Its push walls, keys and exit elevators are simple by today’s standards, but its speed still holds up. Playing it alongside modern shooters shows how much the genre has changed and how much has stayed the same. Payback 2 rounds out the list with gang shootouts in a crime sandbox.
Which Shooter Suits You
If you like precision and patience, start with CS GO 2 or Time Shooter 2. If you prefer nonstop action, Funny Shooter 2 and Bullet Force deliver. And if you want something unique, the building of 1v1 Lol or the slapstick swordplay of Bloody Bastards offers a completely different kind of fight.
